The task is creating a space that feels brighter, more open, and effortlessly timeless- Located in the charming Telok Kurau estate, this project involved a complete revamp of an old house. The client sought a cozy, timeless, and understated design with a clean aesthetic. A key challenge was adhering to conservation laws, which required preserving the original doors and windows.

To harmonize with the existing structure, we opted for a monochromatic color palette, creating a modern cottage feel that is both open and inviting. The design highlights textures and materials, featuring marble countertops and patterned tiles for the staircase. Each area was thoughtfully planned to serve its purpose while incorporating extra space for comfort and functionality.
