Located in Fernvale Lane of Sengkang estate, team CA is tasked to design the client’s first home focused on elegantly whitewashed ambiance. The renovation mainly centered on the kitchen and toilet areas, while the rest of the rooms were creatively designed with a mix of versatile furniture and cozy soft furnishings. This approach allows the young clients to enjoy greater flexibility as they embark on life’s exciting journey, knowing they can easily adapt their living spaces to suit any changes that may come their way. The house boasts an intriguing layout, featuring the kitchen directly facing the main entrance door, while the dining area is uniquely positioned at the center of the hallway, between the living room and kitchen. Our design strategy maximizes the abundant natural light pouring in from numerous windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The use of white walls and wooden finishes on the furnishings and custom cabinets enhances the cozy ambiance further. The end result is a professionally crafted, comfortable, and expansive home that exudes a sense of luxury and indulgence, ensuring a truly gratifying living experience for its occupants.

We met with a few designers before going with couple abode. Hazel's mood board was one of the main reason for picking them as it showed us that she understood how we want the final house to look like. Secondly was their pricing, as we manage to achieve most of the stuff we wanted to have in our house within our budget. Appreciate Hazel and Alson for being proactive and patience with our requests. We were very happy with how our house turn out, my wife like the white feeling of the house which was one of the main things she was looking for but couldn't articulate. I personally enjoy my display shelf where I can finally display my work on the shelves. We would highly recommend Hazel / Couple Abode to any friends because of the value they provide.

Both were very responsive to last minute and frequent changes, and importantly, very patient and accommodating during our many discussions. To top it off, both Alvin & Alson delivered exactly what we had in mind, from the conceptualisation stage to the actual execution. Both incorporated our requirements into practical and aesthetically pleasing designs. We also appreciated timely updates during the renovation period when we were too busy to visit the site. He considers each of our suggestions carefully and sincerely before giving us his expert opinion on whether it is a plausible plan. He would also chime in with his own suggestions whenever we were at a crossroads, or were lost, but he never becomes overly imposing by insisting that we go with his suggestions. He would also do his best to help us with furniture selection as we frequently text him and send him photos when we shop for furniture. He never gets frustrated and would always give his honest opinion. The workmanship is very good and if there are minor adjustments that needs to be done, Alson will never hesitate to offer his help. All in all, Alson is a sincere ID who takes pride in his projects. 100% would recommend Couple Abode.
